As the longest-serving motorhome manufacturer in Australia that is still in the hands of the original family, Avida has grown from a single slide-on camper designed in a garage in 1965 into the powerhouse it is in the RV industry today.

Avida’s original vision is still what drives the business today – to create a vehicle that fulfils a customer’s dream lifestyle.

Throughout 2025, Avida will commemorate this milestone with special events, exclusive model releases, limited-time offers and a renewed commitment to the adventurous spirit of RV travel. The company will launch five new ranges and 11 new models as part of its 60-year celebrations, including the highly anticipated Explorer LX 4x4 off-grid campervan for the more adventurous traveller.

Limited-Time Anniversary Offers

Kicking off celebrations is a limited-time offer, which will include (for the first time in the RV industry) 60 months Avida factory-backed warranty, 60 months chassis warranty, 60 months roadside assistance, 60 months Avida structural warranty and 60 months capped price servicing.

Avida LX Models: A New Era in RVs

In honour of the 60th anniversary, Avida is offering customers more, by launching some new LX Models (LX is Roman numerals for 60).

Base variants and LX variants will become part of the Avida range, providing even more for the customer to choose from … with the LX premium models adding more specifications and unique features.

Explore Avida’s New Virtual Showroom

Along with the limited-time offers, Avida will start the celebrations with a new website, with a fresh new look, easier navigation and a comparison feature. The website will also include an industry first of this type of state-of-the-art virtual showroom.

The virtual showroom allows customers to virtually walk around in the comfort of their home or office, and view the exterior or interior of each model, where they can personalise their colour choices including benchtops, splashback and cabinetry etc.

New models will be added to the virtual showroom as they become available.

National Celebrations and Dealer Events Across Australia & New Zealand

As part of the festivities, Avida will host events at dealerships across Australia and New Zealand – inviting current and future Avida customers to join the celebrations.

These events will include exclusive model showcases, behind-the-scenes insights into Avida’s manufacturing and design processes, and opportunities to meet the team who continue to bring the Avida vision to life.
