Ultimate RV Lifestyle
Embrace the ultimate RV lifestyle in coastal Queensland.

In the sought-after coastal township of Burnett Heads, a unique lifestyle village has emerged, offering a redefined way of living for active travellers. Located just outside of Bundaberg, Queensland, RV Lifestyle Village Oceanside proudly sits on 38 hectares of land, providing ample room to grow over the next few years.

RV Lifestyle Village Oceanside offers beautifully crafted, spacious homes for purchase with choices of two or three bedrooms, and garages purposely built for RVs. With an average size garage measuring 16m x 6m and a garage door clearance of up to 3.6m, there is plenty of space to accommodate even the largest rigs, along with some extra toys and equipment.

“The garages are a blank canvas for residents to customise as they please,” explains Amy Boyd, Group General Manager. “Despite our name, it’s not a requirement of entry to own a caravan or RV. We’ve fulfilled frequent requests from our residents, building mezzanine floors, workshops and craft rooms. We’ve even been asked to install a car lift.”

“RV Oceanside is all about embracing a fulfilling lifestyle,” says Ms Boyd. “Our vision was to create a tailor-made village for people who cherish the RV lifestyle. It goes beyond providing an oversized garage. It’s about wide streets, generous driveways, and addressing the concerns of manoeuvrability and clearance.”

The advantages for RV owners don’t end there though. RV Oceanside boasts additional  amenities, such as an RV wash bay with a gantry, an onsite dump point, and a hardstand area accommodating up to 10 visiting caravans or RVs.

When you’re not travelling, the village’s unique offering of activities both within its boundaries and in the surrounding area keeps  residents busy and inspired. Within the resort, the community’s newly built first-class facilities include a lagoon pool, a games room with a self-serve bar, two ten-pin bowling lanes, pool tables, table tennis tables, and lounge seating. The reception centre provides a large casual lounge, library, art and craft room, meeting room and porte cochere. Additionally, residents can enjoy the gym, community kitchen, concourse with BBQs, fire pit, and casual seating, as well as a resident’s workshop.

The soon to open village park makes the most of the Queensland climate with barbecue areas and picnic shelters for all residents to enjoy. Further development will include a cinema, clubhouse, covered lawn bowls, tennis courts, a community vegetable garden, a golf simulator, and more.

Having just welcomed the 150th resident, and growing fast, one of the biggest drawcards for many is the sense of community. “We love the social aspect and making new friends. We came to Burnett Heads  from Penrith, so we’re loving the climate too!” says Kathy McDonald, who moved in just a few months ago. Her husband Mark agrees. “And yet you can have your privacy too,” he says. “You can be involved as much or as little as you’d like.”

Step outside of the village and you’ll find the nearby marina, with moorings and public boat ramp for river and ocean fishing. Marine lovers will be pleased to know that Burnett Heads is considered the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef. For those who prefer land-based activities, Oaks Beach and the Turtle Trail are all within walking distance from RV Oceanside.

Stage two homes are now under construction with prices starting at $719,000, with new homes nearing completion - offering the chance to move in before Christmas.

For an all-inclusive weekly site fee of $214, residents enjoy numerous benefits, including coverage of council rates, access to and maintenance of all community facilities, upkeep of communal areas and gardens, streetscape upkeep, and the presence of an onsite manager and community administration. The only maintenance residents are responsible for is their own back lawn, and a rechargeable lawn mower and whipper snipper is available for use free of charge.

RV Lifestyle Village Oceanside is located at 50 Marshall St, Burnett Heads, Queensland. Homes are currently available for purchase, and all feature RV garages. For more information, find them on Facebook or visit: rvlifestylevillage.com.au.
